My thoughts
According to Illamasqua, Magnetism is a deep raspberry pink. Obviously, it's a bold color but less bold than a fiery red. It should be worn with soft nude eyes in my opinion. I am very pleased with the formula and pigmentation. It glides on super smooth and doesn’t dry out my lips. I am happy that I don’t have to keep layering it on multiple times; it gets opaque in a single swipe. What do I think about the color? Well, I think it’s amazing! I have tried this shade for the first time and I am very happy to have it. Most of all, it really complements my skin tone. I see that it doesn’t emphasize my lip lines, gives slight sheen to my lips and feels moisturizing. The lasting power of the product isn’t the most amazing but good enough for me. On my lips, it lasts for about two hours and starts to fade thereafter. A good lip liner underneath will help stretch the wear time till three to four hours.

Overall, Magnetism along with Eurydice has made it to my favorites list. If you want to paint your pucker with something different and bold, Magnetism is worth checking out.

You might like it if…
  • You think the color complements your skin tone
  • It glides smoothly on your lips and doesn’t dry it out
  • You don’t fancy multiple layering of the product
  • You are happy with its decent wear time
  • You expect the lipstick to fade evenly
You might not it if…
  • You think it’s too pricey for your liking
My rating
4.5/5

    1. Hey Soph, the shade is much deeper in person. Somehow, my camera failed to capture the depth of it. I am sure you will love it. And thanks for the suggestion, I will sure look for it :) x

  5. Beautiful, though I would not be able to wear something like this yet I invested in the same shade (Oriflame). I hope I like mine.
