This is the first product I'm trying out from the brand. Read more to find out my experience with KleanColor Everlasting Lipstick.

Everlasting Lipstick
A rich, creamy and fuller-color lipstick from KleanColor. From a sophisticated red to a shimmery pearlized chocolate, it glides on your lips smoothly. A deluxe tube with clear top shows off the color inside.

Available in 29 shades

My thoughts
First of all, it’s not a pink color. It’s more of a purple pink with frost finish. I do consider it to be a unique shade however there are SO many disadvantages to it that I couldn’t get myself to love it. The first and the foremost is the packaging; the lipstick doesn’t completely twist down into the tube which makes it very prone to nicking as you click back the lid into place. Secondly, it has a bitter medicinal smell which is a major con. I do find it to be moisturizing but it rather works against it. The texture is awfully creamy to the point that it slides off and doesn’t provide an even coverage which leaves lips looking blotchy. Also, it takes a couple of swipes to get a semi-opaque coverage. It wears maximum an hour and a half on me and fades thereafter so it isn’t everlasting after all.

Despite the cheap price tag, I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend. The wide range of colors does draw attention however the performance leaves a lot to be desired.

You might like it if…
  • You expect a semi-opaque coverage
  • You’re looking for a budget-friendly lipstick
  • You dig frost finish lipstick
  • You expect it to be moisturizing
You might not like it if…
  • You expect an opaque even coverage
  • The bitter/medicinal scent bothers you
  • You want a lipstick that completely twists down into the tube
  • You expect a long wear
My rating
 2/5

KleanColor Everlasting Lipstick is priced PKR 380 and can be purchased online at International Makeup In Pakistan.
